Abstract
Aptitude test is designed to measure someone’s potential talent. One of the is adaptive with IRT3 (Item Response Theory Three Parameters) where intake of score is not only based on right answer but also parameters influence their answer. Aptitude testing online of Computer Adaptive Test (CAT) only include questions and question parameters without knowing furthermore the process by software, and get test scorequckly and accurately. Bengkulu University has 8 faculties with Bachelor regular programs. the University of Bengkulu is able to accommodate thousands of high school graduates who want to continue their education into college. This study aims to develop a decision support system applicationthat givesrecommendations for students who want to continue their education into speciall in the University of Bengkulu. System development method used in this research was a prototype method using the UML as a system designing method. The result is a decision support system that can give recommendations of study program at the University of Bengkulu for prospective students because the system has been able to show the result of calculations based on data input by using Multifactor Evaluation Process (MFEP) method and produced five study programs that have been in the ranking.
