Abstract

In order to solve the problems a rise from sun drying practices for agricultural products, a solar dryer was con structed having profile a ja r in its lon g se ct ion and two wings appeared in its cro ss section. Whole structure was covered with UV plastic to harve st en e rg y fro m th e sun a nd th e bo d y o f th e ja r wa s d ry in g cha mb e r, tu nn e l o f th e ja r a ct s a s ch i mn e y eq u ip p ed with e xh au st fa n in sid e wh ile th e in clin ed wing s fu n c tio n a s ad d ed he a t co lle c to r. The dryer was equipped with two in lets situated at the bottom end soft he wings.
