Abstract

This research relates to the study of health and safety (K3) mechanics. Health and Safety (K3) is an instrument that protects workers, the company, the environment, and the surrounding community of danger due to workplace accidents and regulate several possible imminent danger to workers. Such protection is a fundamental right that must be met by the company. K3 aimed at preventing, reducing, and even nullify the risk of workplace accidents (zero accident). The methodology in this research, by field observations or direct observation at the station boiler PT. X. Data were also obtained from the manual safety boiler operator training classes 1 and by reviewing the rules contained little in the factory. The result can be a result of the observed field data instantly and regulations set by the PT. X to be compared in order to be useful in the future.
