Abstract

The purpose of this research is to analyze the influence of principal’s leadership and teacher’s work motivation either individually or jointly to the teacher’s performance at Junior High Schools in Sub-District of Muara Bangkahulu Bengkulu. The method used is simple regression linear technique and multiple regression linear technique between two independent variables which are principal’s leardership (X1) and teacher’s work motivation (X2) to one dependent variable which is teacher’s performance (Y) at Junior High Schools in Sub- District of Muara Bangkahulu Bengkulu City. Sampling in this research is total sampling that is some teachers at Junior High Schools in Sub-District of Muara Bangkahulu Bengkulu City, which is 84 respondents that exist at Junior High Schools in Sub-District of Muara Bangkahulu Bengkulu City. Based on the results of the research analysis, it is known that there is positive and significant influence between the principal’s leadership toward teacher’s performance is equal to 85,1%, there is positive and significant influence between the teacher’s work motivation toward teacher’s performance is equal to 83,5%, and there is positive and significant influence between the principal’s leadership and teacher’s work motivation jointly toward teacher’s performance is equal to 86,8%.
