Abstract

This paper is designing a rectangular microstrip antenna for SAR antenna applications that works at a frequency of 10 GHz with the material used is Duroid 4350b substrate. From the research results obtained SAR antenna output with a return loss value of -42.13 Db, VSWR of 1.0158 antenna impedance of 48.67 Ω, bandwidth of 0.377 GHz, HPBW of 15º and Gain of 10.5 dBi. From the output antenna parameters produced, it meets the antenna standard which is quite good. In designing the SAR antenna with this rectangular shape still needs to be developed especially the value of the Gain and HPBW antenna because the SAR antenna must have a large gain and a small HPBW value.
