Abstract

Panorama Market is one of the pilot traditional markets in Bengkulu City. This market has a variety of classic problems that have not been resolved, namely the traders who sell on the roadside and control that is not routinely carried out. This research focuses on market management policies, namely Bengkulu City Regional Regulation Number 06 of 2020 concerning People's Market Management. This study aims to determine and describe the evaluation of the Panorama Market management policy in Bengkulu City. The research location was carried out at UPTD Pasar Panorama, Bengkulu City. The researcher uses a descriptive research type with a qualitative approach. Data collection techniques used include observation, interviews, and documentation. The results of the study include Human Resources, Money and Infrastructure which have a major influence on the effectiveness and efficiency in managing Panorama Market in achieving the management objectives of the People's Market, however, the impact of these policies has not been optimal due to sanctions and improper implementation. The conclusion of this study is that the policy is good and correct, but has not been effective in its implementation. This can be seen from the lack of supervision and firmness of the City Government and related parties in managing the Panorama Market. So that in this case efforts are needed to increase supervision and follow-up by the City Government in implementing regulations and sanctions in accordance with Bengkulu City Regional Regulation Number 06 of 2020 concerning Management of People's Markets.
