Abstract
Unemployment is crucial problem in Indonesia. The Indonesia government has to solve the unemployment problem. The important thing to solve this problem is the government knows the types of unemployment base on the background of these employees. The research objective is to know the types of employment in Bengkulu City. Sampling method used is accidental sampling. Using cluster analysis, respondent are grouped into two (2) clusters. The first type (potential unemployment) is the unemployees who have good skills, high motivation to get job, and have entrepreneurship skill. The second type (unpontential unemployment) Is unemployees who have bad skills, low motivation to get job, and do not have entrepreneurship skill.
