Abstract

Air Duku in Rejang Lebong Regency has a total area of 185 Ha which is used as irrigation water drainage. In the Air Duku irrigation channel there have been many changes in conditions and buildings, especially in the secondary channel. As well as the number of oil palm plantations around the irrigation area. Thus, it is necessary to analyze the efficiency and loss of water. The purpose of this study was to analyze the efficiency of the secondary channel of the Air Duku Irrigation Area, analyze water loss due to evaporation and seepage, and efficiently evaluate the secondary channel of the Air Duku Irrigation Area. The methodology used to calculate the efficiency and water loss are analyzed by the inflow and outflow methods. The data used in this analysis are flow velocity data with current meters and evaporation data from BMKG. From the results of the efficiency analysis that has been carried out, the smallest efficiency is found on the BT 1 channel worth 60.507%. Percentage of water loss of 33.51%, with the value of water loss due to the greatest evaporation occurs along the secondary channel is in BT 1 which is 3.699 x 10-4 m3 / sec, and the value of water loss due to the biggest secretion is on the BT 1 channel with a value of 1.360 x 10-4 mm / day. The average efficiency of the secondary channel is 66.493% this result is not in accordance with the theoretical efficiency determined by KP-01 which is ≥ 90%.
