Abstract

Tapak Paderi Beach at Bengkulu City has a coastal safety structure (groin) which serves to withstand sedimentation transport, but the building has been damaged and deformed. The purpose of this study was to analyze the building of form I groin using tetrapod material at Tapak Paderi Beach in Bengkulu City. The method of conducting research primary data processing Method Used in Field Direct Namely Collection (Hs and Ts), while the secondary data analysis method using wind data, and analysis data tides. Secondary data in this in this research is the wind data taken for ten years (2009 - 2018) obtained from the Meteorology, Climatology and Geophysics Agency (BMKG) Fatmawati Meteorology Station Bengkulu and the tides data taken during the last 5 years (2014-2018) who obtained from the application of the tides the water of the sea (tides). Results of the groin tetrapod have 64 m in length, the distance between the groin 192 m, water level of 2,15 m, elevation lighthouse 5,562 m and 9.562 m elevation of the building, the peak width of 3.729 m on the head and 4.041 m on the arms. Weight unit protective cover tetrapod groin head W=4,099 tons, W/10=409 kg, W/200=20 kg and the arms W=5,217tons, W/10=521 kg, W/200=26 kg, and the amount each layer is 15 m2 as many as 11 pieces for the head, and 9 pieces for the arms.
