Abstract

The Air Lelangi River is located in Lubuk Mindai Village, Ketahun District, North Bengkulu Regency, which includes the Ketahun River Basin at coordinates 3°17'25.6''LS and 101°45’53.4’’BT. A study was conducted to analyze sedimentation using the Kikawa-Ashida method and the Colby method which aimed to analyze the rate of total sediment transport. The stages of conducting research are starting from the measurement of speed and testing of sediment samples then after that data calculation and analysis are carried out. The calculation results using the Kikawa-Ashida method obtained the sediment discharge rate of 0.259 tons/day, and with the Colby method, the sediment discharge rate was obtained at 0,777 tons/day. Therefore, from this study, it can be concluded that the rate of sediment transport per day that occurs continuously will disrupt the flow of water and cause flooding.
