Abstract

This study aimed to determine the level and relationship of demographic factors, namely Gender, Age and GPA on Burnout in students participating in the PPG batch 1 program in 2022 in hybrid learning at the University of Bengkulu. In this quantitative research further elaborated with a descriptive approach. This study took a sample of 101 out of a total of 201 PPG batch 1 program students in 2022 based on inclusion and exclusion criteria. The instrument used is the Maslach Burnout Inventory (MBI) adapted from Khatami (2018). The results showed that burnout among PPG Batch 1 students at the University of Bengkulu was at a high level. Based on the burnout dimension, students have a high level on the emotional exhaustion dimension (45.5%), a high level on the depersonalization dimension (37.6%) and a low level on the personal accomplishment dimension (37.6%). In addition, the results of the Chi-Square test, which looked for a relationship between burnout and Demographic factors (gender, age, and GPA), showed there is no relationship between burnout and demographic factors as the results of the Chi-Square test was p => 0.05.
