Abstract

Fires can occur in various types of construction which are caused by various factors, one of which is due to an electric short circuit. Fires that occur in PTM buildings on December 14, 2018 can affect the properties of concrete and its constituent materials, even at certain temperatures can reduce materials strength. Increased room temperature due to fires will continue to propagate through the thickness of the concrete as the fire temperature increases and the duration of the fire occurrence. The condition of the PTM (PasarTradisional Modern / Modern Traditional Market) structure after fire, the type and extent of damage to the structural elements and the strength that remains. Study of the level of damage is done by studying the type of damage on the site; the color of concrete which can describe the temperature of the fire and the layout study of the existing structure. Examination of the quality of existing concrete after the fire was also carried out by the core drill method, hammer test and tensile test to determine the quality of reinforcing steel. Post-fire structural damage elements in the form of concrete spalling, cracks in the beam cause excessive deflection. Concrete affected by fires has colors ranging from gray to reddish yellow, which indicates the fire temperature above 1000C. The quality of existing concrete based on core drill testing on K1 column elements 71.15 kg/cm2, K2 103.99 kg/cm2 and average results of hammer test for columns is 208.79 kg/cm2,175.13 kg/cm2 for beams and 102.54 kg / cm2for floor slabs
