Abstract

The study aims to describe the difficulties of teachers in making LKPD in the Merdeka Curriculum in Bengkulu City vocational schools. The study was a mixed methods approach. Data collection was carried out through questionnaires and interviews. Data analysis uses formulas and descriptions, with four categories: Very Good, Good, Poor, and Very Poor. The data source was four teachers at a vocational school in Bengkulu Province. The results of the study showed that the four teachers experienced difficulty in making LKPD on two main indicators, namely Didactics with an average score of 3.00 and Construction with an average score of 2.72, both of which were included in the poor category. In conclusion, the English teacher at the school experienced difficulties in creating LKPD following the Merdeka Curriculum, especially in adapting LKPD to students' initial abilities and compiling clear and structured content. This finding is expected to provide insight for educational practitioners to overcome these difficulties and improve the quality of LKPD in the Merdeka curriculum. Future research should consider expanding the sample size to include a more diverse group of teachers from various vocational schools across different regions, which would provide a more comprehensive understanding of the challenges teachers face.
