Abstract

The research aim was analyzing useful of sleep land to increase food production in creating defense food at Bengkulu city. The research use descriptive analysis method through simulation method, by using some assumptions for describing analysis of using sleep land. From the research result show that using of sleep land 27,28 Km2 at Bengkulu city to product food, can handle food stock problem. For descreasing of rice stock which first 20.750,5 ton by using of sleep land become less 7.130,3 ton. For corn which first decrease stock 15.637,5 ton become only 1.479,5 ton. Meanwhile, for cassava and sweet potato which first decrease stock 2.448,1 ton and 1.074,5 ton become surplus 51,9 ton and 29,5 ton.
