Abstract

The objective of this research was to know whether or not the Jigsaw Technique had a significant improvement on Students’ Reading Comprehension. This research was classroom action research. The sample of this research was students of XB3 of SMKN 3 Kota Bengkulu. The data were collected by giving a Pre Test that was done before the treatment and a Post Test after the treatment. This research also has been done for three cycles. The results showed that there was a significant improvement of the Jigsaw Technique on Students’ Reading Comprehension. It could be proved by gain score between the Pre Test and Post test mean score. Average score of Pre test was 37% while average of post test was 69%. The improvement was 32%.
