Abstract
The objective of this research is to describe the student management in increasing the student achievement at Goverment Vocational Senior High School 1 Lubuklinggau City. The specific objectives of this research are: 1) to describe the new student recruitment system in increasing the sudent achievement, 2) the new student orientation period in increasing the student achievement, 3) the student grouping in increasing their achievement, 4) the student disciplinary program in increasing their achievement, 5) the extracurriculer program in increasing the student achievement, 6) the school leavers tracement in increasing the student achievement at Goverment Vocational Senior High School 1 Lubuklinggau City. This research uses qualitative descriptive method. The subjet of this reseach are headmaster, vice headmaster, teachers’, administrative staffs, students’, and other related parties. The technique for collesting the data in this research are observation, interview, and documentation. Data are analized by means of inductive technique. Data analisys steps are in the form of data reduction data display and verification. The result of this research show that in general the students’ management in increasing the students’ learning achievement at Goverment Vocational Senior High School 1 Lubuklinggau City has matched with the hope of the management.
