Abstract

The objective of this research is to describe the correlation between leadership empathy and knowledge on duty and the ability in implmenting school headmaster roles as school manager of kindergartens in Bengkulu city. The method used in this study was correlation with closed survey. The population were 70 headmaster of kindergarten in Bengkulu city. The sampling technique used was equal sampling technique. Forty headmasters were chosen using the technique. A set of questionnaire was used to rescareh. The data were then analysed by descriptive and inferential statistical analyses. The results show that; first, there is a positive correlation between leadership empathy and the ability to implement the roles of kindergarten headmasters, correlation coeficience of ry1 = 0,687; secord, there is a positive correlation between the knowledge on duty and the ability in implementing their roles of kindergarten headmasters. Correlalation coeficieonce of ry2 = 0,9815; third, there is a positive correlation between leadership empathy and the knowledge on duty and the ability to implement their roles of kindergarten headmaster. Correlation coeficience of ry12 = 0,5509.
