Abstract

The aim of this study are : (1) Tto know literature learning material which is gender responsived and non gender resposived at yunior high school in Bengkulu, (2) describing media is used in literature learning process which is gender responsived and non gender responsived at yunior high school in Bengkulu, (3) describing method is used in literature learning process gender responsived and non gender responsived at yunior high school in Bengkulu. This study used descriptive method in analysis data. This study implemented case study. The aim of this study to thescribe literature learning activities at yunior high school in Bengkulu. Which support and do not support gender. Data were collected by interview, observation, and survey in classroom. Data analysis by using triangulation, research relate and campare information from a subject to other subject based an the gender theory. Data the result of study analysis qualitatively. The result of this study showed that literature learning material at yunior high school in Bengkulu is netral and non gender. If was also found that actress in rover and short story became object non subject. Media is literature learning tend to be non gender responsived. It means media was used in literature learning did not differentate between male and female. Media also varely used to explore students creativity, in discussion activity male student tend to work in male group and female student work in female group. It is cassed by cultural effect of studens environment. Therefore, it is important to elaborate gender eqvality.
