Abstract

The objective of this research is to describe the efforts of improving performance which are done in the public relation of national education department of bengkulu city. This research used a descriptive qualitative method. Observation technique, interview, and documents were used to collect the data. The data were analyzed by using descriptive qualitative method which consisted of collecting data, reducing data, displaying data, and drawing a conclusion. Respondents of the research is section chief of public relation, section chief of planning and Head of National Educational education Departmend and public relation staffs of National Education Department of Bengkulu city. The result of this research shows that the efforts of improving performance in the public relation of national education department of bengkulu city were still low and needed to be improved.
