Abstract
The purpose of this research is to improve the discipline of new students of VIIA class at Junior High School Number Four Lubuklinggau through applying teacher modeling. The specific purposes of this research are: (1) to improve the discipline of new students through applying teacher modeling in precise time discipline ; (2) to improve the discipline of new students through applying teacher modeling in neat dressed discipline ; (3) to improve the discipline of new students through applying teacher modeling in learning orderly discipline ; (4) to improve the discipline of new students through applying teacher modeling in doing assignment. The method used is action research. The subject of this research are the students of VIIA class at Junior High School Number Four Lubuklinggau. Researcher collaborator are teacher and the parents of VIIA class students. Data collecting technique used are: (1) observation ; (2) interview ; (3) documentation. Data analysis technique used are percentage and average score. The result of this research are: (1) the discipline of new students can be improved through applying teacher modeling in precise time discipline ; (2) the discipline of new students can be improved through applying teacher modeling in neat dressed discipline ; (3) the discipline of new students can be improved through applying teacher modeling in learning orderly discipline ; (4) the discipline of new students can be improved through applying teacher modeling in doing assignment. The conclussion is induceed by special conclussion suits to based on result and research discussion as follows: (1) the discipline of new students can be improved through applying teacher modeling in precise time discipline ; (2) the discipline of new students can be improved through applying teacher modeling in neat dressed discipline ; (3) the discipline of new students can be improved through applying teacher modeling in learning orderly discipline ; (4) the discipline of new students can be improved through applying teacher modeling in doing assignment.
