Abstract

The purpose of this study was to describe management problems and solutions at Open Junior High School 2 Padang Jaya North Bengkulu Regency. This study used descriptive qualitative method. Subject of the study were the principal, teachers, and administration staff of Open Junior High School 2 Padang Jaya North Bengkulu Regency. Data collection techniques used in this study were; observation, interview, and documentation. Data analysis stages in this study were done descriptively; namely (1) data analysis, (2) data reduction, (3) conclusion/ verification. This study concluded that Open Junior High School 2 Padang Jaya North Bengkulu Regency still faced many problems management such as in curriculum management, students’ affairs, personnel affairs, infrastructures, finance support, and public relations. To solve these problems, a solution is needed, but the solution taken was not completely solved the problems which was faced.
