Abstract
The objective of this research is to describe of teacher’s strategy in improving the quality of classroom management in public Junior High School Number 1 of Tebing Tinggi, Empat Lawang Regency. The subject of this research was head master, teachers’ and students. The method use in this research was descriptive qualitative. The data was collected with interview, observation and documentation technique. The ellected data then analyzed with used qualitative descriptive method. The result of this study can be the roll, to askfor home address, how teachers can motivate students, in the form of praise, flattery and gifts, how teachers overcome students’ deviant behavior is by way of rebuke, counsel to impose sanction in accordance with vicarious infringement, as for the way teachers’ in providing the reward and punishment is usually clean up the school to make arrangements, the way teachers in fostering cooperation with parent is through calls and committee meetings. Strategy used in improving the quality of classroom management is expected to result in an optimal learning.
