Abstract
Increased tourism in the District Lebong an integral part of the national tourism development, in addition, improved management of tourism in this Lebong district has a very important and strategic for the nation of Indonesia in support of the survival and success of national development. In this regard the implementation of improved management of tourism in the District of Lebong should be able to be a means to achieve their goals and national objectives in order to realize social justice for all people of Indonesia. The successful implementation of national tourism development in the District of Lebong be achieved or achieved thanks to the integration and kesinergian between government forces, mass media, and tourism entrepreneurs on the visitor. SWOT analysis carried out to develop tourism marketing strategies in the District Lebong. The marketing strategy of increasing tourism in the District of Lebong include increased tourism marketing mix includes product, price, place, promotion, people, process and phsycal eviden. Based on the research results are the difference between force and weakness that is equal to -10.95. Which is based on research results at 15.65 while the power of 26.6 weakness. This means that tourism in the District of Lebong still many weaknesses are reviewed internal factors (strengths and weaknesses) of the marketing mix. Furthermore there is a difference between the total opportunity and challenge that is equal to -11.6 total. Which is based on research results of 14.4 while the opportunity of 26 challenges. This suggests that small chance that can be taken from external factors tourism in the District Lebong. Grand strategy matrix shows the position in District of Lebong attractions are located in quadrant IV that supports the Defense strategy. This indicates the position of tourism in District of Lebong in a weak position and face a huge challenge. Recommendations given strategy is Strategy Survive. Therefore the parties related to both the private and government parties are advised to use a survival strategy, the performance of internal control to avoid getting mired.
