Abstract

Phytochemical test of bark maja extract (Aegle marmelos (L.) Corr.) and biological activity test by Brine shrimp lethality test have been done. This research comprise two steps: the first steps is phytochemical test of secondary metabolites (flavonoid, alkaloid, steroid dan terpenoid), and the second steps is biological activity by using Artemia salina Leach larvae. The results of this research showed that bark of maja extract contained flavonoid. The result of biological activity test by Brine shrimp lethality test had LC 48,29 ppm.50
