Abstract

This study aims to explore and describe 1) a portrait of knowledge, perception and attitude of youth (women versus men) on HIV / AIDS and ODHA after running aground Socialization messages extension by Komisi Penanggulangan AIDS (KPA Provinsi Bengkulu), 2) to describe information sources others about HIV / AIDS in addition to ocialization KpA. The research was carried out using a qualitative approach . Datacollection techniques used include observation techniques, in-depth intervier,vs, and documentation study. The informant is a teenager who had been followed by the KPA and the socialization of adolescents who have not followed the dissemination of HIV / AIDS by the KpA, lnformants purposively determined. Analysis of research results describe that the knowledge of adolescents. about HiV / AIDS is a very good starl of symptoms until the stigmas from the social envirolment for oDHA. Can be concluded in general there were no significant differences between groups of adolescents who have followed the dissemination of HM AIDS directly (KpA), or not.This situation is caused by the increasingly open access to the diverse youth of media information, both print and electronic. Thus, the iocialization of the KpA is not a sole source of information for adolescents, and even television and print media more involved in giving information about HIV / AIDS.
