Abstract

Sidat has katadormus characteristic because it lives in clear water from its infancies until they grown up. Sidat will migrate to the deep sea at the time when they are spawning. This research is purposed to analyze the growth, survival rate, woof efficiency and water quality in the cultivation field. The method which is used is by doing direct observation of the growth on the field for 4 months of cultivation. 150 fish with 10 kilograms of height become 15 kilograms of height each. The growth of sidat is high. First month is 92%, second month is 98,5%, third month is 98% and fourth month is 100%. The efficiency of woof in first to third months is 4,76% which become higher in fourth months that reach 6,34%. Water quality on the field of cultivation is DO 4,06 ppm with the temperature is 31,3 0 C, pH 6,56 and 100% of brightness level. Overall, the parameter of water quality which is measured is still in the appropriate level for the growth of sidat fish.
