Abstract
Design ofconcretestructuresaccording tothe applicablestandardis to usethe principle ofthe planningsectionofthe loadmomentbased onthe principles ofBernoulli andNavier. Considered linearstrain distributionandis consideredstill valideven thoughcross-sectionhas been crackedand the planningsectionof theburden ofa separateshear forceswith the principle ofVc+Vs. The number ofcasesforthe structural elementsthathave afairlycomplicatedshapewill causea problemin its design. This happensto the elements- structural elementssuch ashigh beam, corbel, beams withfairlyabruptchanges inthe dimensions, etc.This is evident fromthe occurrence ofnon-linear strain distributionso thatit can no longerplannedin a standard way.Planningisdonesometimesonly beapproachwith the regulations-regulationsto existing standards, although sometimesthereis a significant difference, one alternative approachto deal with isusing Strut and Tie Modelapproach.
