AN ANALYSIS OF INTERACTION AMONG SUB-DISTRICTS IN KABUPATEN

This research was aimed to determined nohich sub-districts that had a potential as
region center of economic growth and also to analyse interaction pattern of the
center region with other sub-districts. The data was secondary data which was
gained from BPS, Bappeda, Kecamatan, PU Kabupaten Lebong and BPS Propinsi
Bengkulu. This research used descriptive analysis by processing quantitative data in
scalogram analyse and gravitation form based on result of the research, it could be
conchided that there were two sub-districts categorized as region center of economic
growth from six subdistricts available. It’s cansed by the had higt score than the
other, Kecamatan Lebong Utara which the score way 2.526 and 1.402 for Kecamatan
Lebong Selatan. There was an interaction puttern among sub-district growth center
with hinterland sub-district. Besides, there was also interaction among, one
hinterland sub-district with two center growth of sub-districts. There was possibility
that Kecamatan Padang Bano would interact with Kecamatan Lebong Selatan
because they had relatively short distance but there was no complete facilities yet it
made them low in doing interaction each other.
