Abstract
The purpose of this research is to know the increase of teachers’
competency in the learning instruction by workshop. In particular, it is aimed to
reveal: 1) to implement of workshop to increase teachers’ competency in the
learning plan; 2) to implement of workshop to increase teachers’ competency in the
learning doing; 3) to implement of workshop to increase teachers’ competency in
the learning evaluation. This research method is a kind of an action research. The
research finding shows: the result in the first cycle hasn’t showed any competency.
Teachers hasn’t understood the benefit of team work, the benefit of using model of
instruction, the model hasn’t suitable to the teaching material, teaching instruction
hasn’t suitable with lesson plan, not enthusiastic, not involved in the workshop.
The achievements of study in the first cycle are 11 and 36%. In the second cycle,
the teachers’ competence increased a little, it’s showed the result of
achievement18,33 and 70%. The result of the third cycle are 20,16 and 86,66. Its
mean the workshop can increase the teachers’ competency.
