MAINTENANCE PADA MOTOR BOILER FEED PUMP

Gas and steam power plant is a combination of between gas power plants and power plants steam, where
the heat from the exhaust gas turbine gas is used to produce steam which is used as the working fluid of the
steam turbine. On In the gas turbine system, there is a part that functions as a place where it occurs
Combustion between a mixture of air and gas is called combustion section. The components of the
alignment shaft need maintenance periodically so that the resulting combustion is good. Maintenance is an
activity carried out to prevent things from happening undesirable effects, such as premature damage to
plant components. Maintenance of the steam turbine carried out based on time based which consists of
combustion inspection, hot gas path inspection, and major inspection. From the results of the inspection
carried out during maintenance, it was found that there is damage to some components of the bearing,
impeller, shaft/shaft, bushings, where the damage is caused by a scratch, and there is corrosion. So it can
be concluded that the damage was caused by friction between metal to metal, due to the axial force on the
component
