Abstract
This study aimed to explain the influence of scientific approach with the
discovery learning model of student learning outcomes, and to explain the
influence of scientific approach with the model of discovery learning on
improving students' scientific attitude.The type of research was Quasi
Eksperimental. The research sample was taken by using purposive sampling
technique obtained by class X MIPA 4 as experiment class and class X MIPA 1 as
control class.Based on the result of data analysis using T-test two independent
samples indicated there was influence of scientific approach with discovery
learning model toward student learning result, that is tcount 2,362 > ttable 2.013. And
there was influence of scientific approach with discovery learning model to
increase student's scientific attitude, that is tcount 2,333 > ttable 2.013. Therefore, it
was concluded that there was influence of scientific approach with discovery
learning model toward scientific attitude and student learning outcomes in SMAN
2 Bengkulu Utara.
