Abstract
Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh adanya konformitas negatif yang terjadi pada
siswa selama proses pembelajaran di sekolah, tujuan penelitian ini untuk
mengetahui pengaruh teknik Assertive Training untuk mengurangi konformitas
negatif siswa di sekolah. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah
eksperimen one group pretest-posttest design dengan populasi 28 siswa kelas VIII
H SMP Negeri 20 Kota Bengkulu dan penentuan sampel menggunakan teknik
purposive sampling, sehingga didapatkan 7 orang siswa menjadi sampel. Teknik
pengumpulan data menggunakan kuesioner konformitas negatif skala Likert.
Analisis data pada penelitian ini menggunakan uji t(paired sample t-test) yang
menunjukkan nilai t= 1,94 (p< 0,05). Artinya terdapat pengaruh layanan konseling
kelompok dengan teknik assertive training ini signifikan untuk mengurangi
konformitas negatif siswa kelas VIII H SMP Negeri 20 Kota Bengkulu.
