MANAJEMEN PRAKTIK KERJA INDUSTRI JURUSAN USAHA PERJALANAN WISATA (Studi Komparatif di Sekolah Menengah Kejuruan Negeri 1 dan Sekolah Menengah Kejuruan Negeri 7 Kota Bengkulu)

The purpose of this study was to compare the industrial work practice management
majoring in travel business at SMK Negeri 1 and SMK Negeri 7 Kota Bengkulu with
respect to: Planning, Implementation, Monitoring, and Evaluation. This research uses
descriptive comparative research method with a qualitative approach. The results
showed: Planning for industrial work practices at SMKN 1 and SMKN 7 Bengkulu
City begins with preparation, namely, the formation of a working group or work
committee. Implementation has been carried out according to the guidelines, namely:
Search or submission of students, Submission of students, Implementation activities
and student placement in Industry, monitoring, withdrawal of students, Reporting and
assessment. Monitoring is carried out by industrial supervisors and instructors.
Evaluation of industrial work practices has been carried out based on the guideline
format. The aim is to find out whether the learning carried out by the teacher during
the learning process at school has been successful or not by connecting the theories
obtained in schools with the industrial world.
