PENGARUH SELF CONFIDENCE, SELF EFFICACY, KECERDASAN EMOSIONAL, DAN KEMAMPUAN PEMAHAMAN KONSEP TERHADAP KEMAMPUAN PEMECAHAN MASALAH MATEMATIKA SISWA SMA KOTA BENGKULU

This study purpose to determine the direct and indirect effects between the
variables of self confidence, self-efficacy, emotional intelligence and the
ability to understand concepts, towards, the ability to solve mathematical
problems in Bengkulu City High School students. This study uses a
quantitative approach. The population is students of class XI Bengkulu City
High School. Sampling is done by simple random sampling. The instrument
in data collection took the form of questionnaires and test questions.Data
were analyzed using path analysis techniques using, SPSS 22 series and
Lisrel Application version 8.8 student. With a significance level of 5%, the
results of the study indicate there are significant influences both directly
and indirectly. For the direct influence of which there is a significant
influence between self confidence on the ability to solve mathematical
problems, self efficacy has a significant effect on the ability to solve
mathematical problems, the ability to understand mathematical concepts
has a significant effect on the ability to solve mathematical problems, self
confidence has a significant effect on emotional intelligence, self confidence
has a significant effect on the ability to understand concepts, self efficacy
has a significant effect on emotional intelligence, emotional intelligence has
a significant effect on the ability to understand concepts, and self
confidence has a significant effect on self efficacy. Meanwhile, for indirect
influence, there is a significant influence of self confidence on the ability to
understand concepts through emotional intelligence, self confidence has a
significant effect on the ability to solve mathematical problems through the
ability to understand concepts, self confidence has a significant effect on the
ability to solve mathematical problems through emotional intelligence and
the ability to understand concepts , self efficacy has a significant effect on
the ability to understand concepts through emotional intelligence, self
efficacy has a significant effect on the ability to solve mathematical
problems through the ability to understand concepts, self efficacy has a
significant effect on the ability to solve mathematical problems through
emotional intelligence and the ability to understand concepts, and self
confidence has a significant effect on emotional intelligence through self
efficacy.
