Abstract
The main objective of this study was to describe the library management in
Public Junior High School of Muara Kelingi. This research used a descriptive
qualitative method. To get the data, this research used observation, interview
and documentation techniques. The collected data was analyzed by using
interactive data analysis suggested by Miles and Hubberman. The main
conclusion of this study was that the library management of Public Junior
High School of Muara Kelingi has been run based on some references which
contain some rules of library management. The specific conclusions of this
study were that (a) the Public Junior High School of Muara Kelingi has
applied the policy toward the development of school library, (b) the funding of
school library was gathered and used procedurally, (c) the administration of
library collection has been organized well based on some criteria and
references, (d) the Public Junior High School of Muara Kelingi has managed
the human
resources of the school library to held up the running of the
school library management and (e) the Public Junior High School of Muara
Kelingi has handled the tribulations of the school library management
effectively.
