Abstract

This research purposed to analiyze the correlation of health expenditure with infant
mortality rate, children under five mortality rate, maternal mortality rate, life expectation
rate, and bad nutrient persentation rate in Bengkulu city. This research used secondary
was collected from documentation in BPS and health department in Bengkulu city. Data
time series in Bengkulu city since 1996 up to 2008 are used and the analyzing instrument
used by used pearson correlation. The result of the study shown that infant mortality rate,
children under five mortality rate, maternal mortality rate, and bad nutrient persentation
rate has negative correlation and significant with health expenditure, while life
expectation rate has positive correlation and significant with health expenditure.
