Abstract

This research aims to improve the activity and learning outcomes in the Thematic learning through the application of scientific approaches tomodel cooperative learning of NHT in third grade students of SDN 53 Bengkulu City. This type of research is classroom action research (PTK). The subjects were teachers and students of class III Bengkulu City. The instrument used the observation sheet and test sheet was analyzed with an average score, highest score, lowest score, the difference in the score and the range for each criterion, while the test data were analyzed using the average value of the formula. The results achieved in this study is a step Thematic learning by applying a scientific approach using modelcooperative learning of NHT namely: (1) Phase Preparation. (2) Phase head of group formation and administration of numbers (managing information). (3) Phase giving assignments and discussion groups (collecting information, associate). (4) Phase dialing and giving answers (communicating and mennya). (5) Stage of granting conclusions (associate and communicate). (6) Phase award. cycle I gained an average of 34 students observation, sufficient criteria, 37.5 second cycle and third cycle sufficient criteria 43 criteria. The highest percentage increase of the aspect already entrenched attitudes (SM) which aspect receives 33.3%. In the aspect of knowledge gained an average of 14.7% IPS test. 22.1% completeness study mathematics. And 51.8% completeness study science. The highest percentage increase of all aspects of the skills of both categories (BS) ie 18.5% of articulation aspects. Based on the results of this study concluded Scientific approach using cooperative learning model of NHT could improve the activity and student learning outcomes in learning Thematic Elementary School third grade 53 Bengkulu City.
