Abstract

The objectives of the survey are gathering the prompt indicator from the trend of the consumers demand in Bengkulu city area. Survey method using interview schedule was employed to 150 respondents. Data were analyzed using descriptive statistics, Net Balance, Means and frequency. Respondents of this survey were the middle-top of the household class in the Bengkulu city. Survey of consumer's expectations in the second quarterly 2005 reveals the conviction of the economic capability was increase and optimistic of consumers expectation would be better of income capability. Consumers expectation to the prices little more optimistic and also the mean of the consumers financial condition little bit better, this is indicated to increase of the number of the current saving, On the other hand, consumer's expectation was decrease because of delay of the decision to buy of durable goods and the higher of the uncertainty in the Future. This condition were able to encourage of the consumers to fulfill the basic needs first,
