Abstract
Liquid soap can be made from waste cooking oil through saponification reaction. To improve consumer acceptance was added the essential oil of citrus Kalamansi. This research aims to create and investigate the characteristics of liquid soap and determine the concentration of citrus Kalamansi essential oils that consumers preferred. Test parameters include pH, viscosity, foam height, free alkali and test preferences. The result showed that the liquid soap have pH level 10.32, viscosity 30.33 cp , foam height 0.15 cm and free alkali 0,08%. The concentration of citrus Kalamansi essential oils most preferably was 2% and the value of acceptance was 4.46.
