Abstract

In today's digital era, people must be able to intelligently choose whether to make transactions using conventional payments or electronically (digital payments). Digital payments are payment methods made using digital technology. To find out the factors that encourage someone to use a system, many research models have been developed, one of which is the Unified Theory of Acceptance and Use of Technology (UTAUT) model which is the result of the development of Venkatesh, et al. (2003). The determinants to measure the interest and behavior of digital payment users in the UTAUT2 model are performance expectations, effort expectations, facilitation conditions, hedonic motivations, and Utilitarian motivations. And moderated by social influences, habits, and price values. the results of this study indicate that the three moderators are not suitable to be used as moderators between the independent variable and the dependent variable. this moderating variable proved to be insignificant and neither added nor reduced the relationship between the independent and dependent variables. the five independent variables proved significant to behavior intention. Behavior intention is proven to be significant to user behavior.
