The use of code-mixing and code-switching of lecturers are different. Some lecturers use more code-mixing, while the other lecturers use more code-switching, and there are also lecturers who use both equally. Possible reasons for code-mixing and codeswitching found in this study are talking about a particular topic, quoting someone else, being empathetic about something, interjection, repetition used for clarification, and expressing group identity and solidarity.
