Abstract
This paper, which discusses one aspect of law and traditional community regulation, aims to link between imaginative aspects and reality reflected in the Malay History textbooks. The idea of this paper starts from the view that literature works are the reflection of societal life, particularly in traditional Malay society. Based on the theories as well as philology and Sosiology of Literature approaches, sociological value meant in this paper is related to the implementation of Malay Kingdom Law in Malay History textbooks.
