Abstract

This research is conducted for getting the mean of income level and factors which influence significantly towards the income of informal bussiness sectors around the Bengkulu University’s campus in Muara Bangkahu district Kandang Limun and Beringin Raya Village. This research is combination between causal comparative research and explanatory research, the data used, is primer data towards 66 respondents. This research used qualitative and quantitative analysis which used comparative method, means scores measuring and duoble regrecy estimation analysis. After conducting the research, can be known that the income of informal business sector around the campus gives high enough average income about 2.968.098,94 rupiahs over then UMR (Avarage Income Minimum) standard of Bengkulu province in 2008 about 683.528 rupiahs. The regrecy analysis result looked up the recated signification correlation between independent variables toward devendent variables partially (t-tes), known that t-count score for capital variables, that is, about 2,321 more than t-table score about 2,000, it shows the existence of positive influence and significantly the sconey. t-count variables for education level is about (-0,697), it shows there is no influence of the variable. t-count score for variables labour is about 3,491 it shows the positive influence and significantly. however, t-count score for variables age level is about (-1,494) which shows there is no influence of the variables.
