Abstract

The purpose of this study is to describe in general how the tips of Public Elementary School 2 Bengkulu City in managing School Operational Fund (BOS). The specific objective of this study is to describe the tips the school in planning School Operational Fund, in actuating the use of School Operational Fund, in accountability the use of the School Operational Fund, and in monitoring and evaluating of School Operational Fund implementation. The method use in this research is descriptive qualitative. Subject were Principal, Treasurer, Teachers and School Committee. Data collection techniques used are observation, interviews and documentation. The results showed that school tips in planning BOS in to involve representative of the board of Teachers, Principals, Schools Treasurer and School Committee in arranging school data, school profiles and arranging the Activity and Budget School Plan (RKAS). In actuating of School Operational Fund, school tips are to use the priorities scale and created a detailed program to be implemented during the month, while for accountability of the School Operational Fund, the tips is not to procrastinate accountability and give the report as soon as the activity undertaken. In School Operational Fund monitoring, the tips of the school is to be kind to all those who came to do the monitoring and evaluation that indicates an assignment letter from the department or delegated agency with clear objective is to provide suggestions and improvements.
