Abstract

This research is classroom action research that done in three cycles with respondent the lecture of organic chemistry 2 and the students of chemistry Education program Universitas Bengkulu that take organic chemistry 2 lesson in 2005/2006 for 49 students. This research is aimed increase the students ability in construct their previous knowledge. Increase the students activity in learning and to know whether the implementation of constructivism approach with Cooperative and Collaborative Learning can increase the learning quality of organic chemisry lesson. The instrument used in this research is the abservation sheet o lecture and students activity to abserve the teaching and learning process condition, the students activeness in discussion and in learning process that going on. In this research is also given a test / quiz as a way to assess in a task form or a series of task that must be done by students so that will be found a mark about the students achievement. The test done in this research is written test with essay form, namely pre-test and post test. The data analysis used is descriptive analysis, where for the lecture and students activity are counted for abservation sheet score, whileas for the test data is managed by counted the average mark. The research finding shows that the implementation of contructivism approach use Cooperative and Collaborative Learning model in STAD, JIGSAW and TGT type can increase the students abilty in construct their previous knowledge in learning process of Organic Chemistry 2 especially Streoisomer, reaction mechanism of SN and carbohydrate topic, increase students activity in learning and can increase the learning proces quality of organic chemistry 2. and SN2
