Abstract

Equipment is of great influence in a company's production activities. Production activities which spend long working capacity led to a decline in the quality of the equipment so that required intensive treatment to reduce or prevent the occurrence of damage and can save production costs. This study aims to determine the appropriate maintenance policy on Fadhel’s music studio. The results of this study explains that the Fadhel’s music studio need to implement a policy of preventive maintenance and can be done periodically ie within a maximum period of two months. It can be seen by comparing the value of total maintenance costs (table 4.6) which only cost Rp. 1.370.000 compared to the cost of corrective policy ever undertaken by the previous Fadhel’s music studio studio that is equal to Rp. 1.705.882, -. By using these preventive policies, namely maintenance within two months, then the Fadhel’s music studio can save the cost of Rp. 335.882, -. However, Fadhel’s music studio also needs to implement corrective policies to reduce the greater damage.
