Abstract
General purpose of the current study is to identify work satisfaction gained by economic administration bureau employees at regional secretariat of Bengkulu Province. Meanwhile, its specific purpose are : (1) to describe satisfaction on compensation for economic administration bureau employees at regional secretariat of Bengkulu province ; (2) to describe satisfaction on work environment for economic administration bureau employees at regional secretariat of Bengkulu province; (3) to describe satisfaction toward leaders for economic administration bureau employees at regional secretariat of Bengkulu province; (4) to describe satisfaction on personal relationshiop for economic administration bureau employees at regional secretariat of Bengkulu province; (5) to describe satisfaction on supervision quality for employees at bureau of economic administration at regional secretariat of Bengkulu province This study is a descriptive qualitative research which is a study are current facts or problems of a particular phenomenon with absence of statistical calculation. The data used in this study are both primary and secondary. The primary data gained by distributing questionnaire and conducting interview. While secondary data which is in form of information,data,report,reference and related documents were used to support primary one. The subject of the study is 66 employees of economic administration bureau of regional secretariat of Bengkulu province. This number was determined by using census sampling technique. Afterward, the data gained during the study was analyzed by employing both descriptive quantitative and qualitative analysis method. The result of the study indicates that: (1) employees of economic administration bureau of regional secretariat of Bengkulu province have got satisfaction on compensation given by the institution where they work; (2) employees of economic administration bureau of regional secretariat of Bengkulu province have got satisfaction on work environment condition; (3) employees of economic administration bureau of regional secretariat of Bengkulu province have got satisfaction on leadership pattern applied by their superiors; (4) employees of economic administration bureau of regional secretariat of Bengkulu province have got satisfaction on the current personal relationship at the bureau: (5) employees of economic administration bureau of regional secretariat of Bengkulu province have got satisfaction on quality of supervision conducted by their superior officers.
