Abstract

This study aims to identify the constraints PT. Sandabi Indah Lestari using the application of theory of constraints (TOC). This study is a descriptive study that does the application of theory of constraints (TOC) at PT. Sandabi Indah Lestari. To analyze the use of secondary data, using the company's data and conduct interviews to the production section and make observations to see what activities there are in PT. sandabi Indah Lestari. From the analysis that has been made known that the constraints PT. Sandabi Indah Lestari is more shall standard engine capacity than that obtained for the raw material processed, resulting in idle capacity. There are two alternatives that can be done to resolve the obstacles faced by the way; eliminating fixed costs (the cost of direct labor and indirect labor costs) on the activity of the fruit storage (loading ramp) and the sorting of raw materials, and alternative raw materials which further adds will be processed so that the idle capacity can be eliminated.
