Abstract

This article present the result of case study of existing manufacturing system and discusses how simulation is used to improve the manufacturing system performances. In this article simulation useiJ to compare condition in fbct and the ideal condition which wish a small industry reached' Method used in this research is field study directly with processing time record technique, industry l'acility owned and also the technique interview to know expectation of management. Through simulator Extend, industry facility used as reference of building simulation model, time processed used as base of simulation time and managcment expectation translated as ideal model. In this simulation, was developed some simulation models which can become alternative solution for raw material problem, worker and capacities production problem as according to ability of company's finance at this time.
