Abstract

The aim of this research is to design model management of regional information and data of coastal and ocean Bengkulu city base on digital through Geographical Information System (GIS). Method the used in this research to 1) conducting data organization and stocktaking regional information and data of coastal and ocean area of Bengkulu 2) analysis spatial through data interpretation of remote sensing and analysis supply of secondary data quality and 3) scheme of geographical information system of coastal and ocean region of Bengkulu. Scheme of regional database design of coastal and ocean in Bengkulu use three activity that is conceptual design, logical design, and physical design. Span coastal and ocean area data of Bengkulu very wide and vary, so in its compilation needed comprehensive systematic approach, concerning many aspects. Therefore used an ecological approach, by taking environmental component or element, that is component of A (abiotik), B (Biotik) and of C (Culture).
